Experience flow

Bike technology

Learn new techniques and apply them or internalize the so-called "pumping" on the pump track - you will find these possibilities and much more in Giswil.

Giswil bike course

Biking needs to be learned! On a route of approx. 10 km, a signposted learning course with 17 posts guides mountain bikers through the Giswil valley floor. This course gives you the opportunity to practise your technical knowledge for biking in alpine terrain. You will learn tricks for riding uphill and downhill.

Pump track Sarneraatal

Above all, pump track means fun. Set out in an endless loop, the aim is to actively ride the course with its waves, bends and jumps by making sweeping up and down movements - known as "pumping" - and generate speed without pedaling or pushing.

Wheel Park

The Wheel Park in Sarnen offers a variety of trails for beginners and pros. Thanks to the spacious area, every riding style has enough room to improve their skills and abilities. According to the motto "Train indoors - perform outdoors", there are no limits in the Wheel Park.

Everyone who wants to have fun on two wheels is welcome. The "Jumpline" with jumps of three, four and five meters in height forms the spectacular heart of the Wheel Park - landing safely on a giant airbag. There are also trails for those who are not so daring but still want to get into the flow.

Together

Bike Code

In the freedom of the mountains, we find our adventure, fresh air and thrills. But while we conquer the trails, we must never forget that we are only guests in this breathtaking nature. The Bike Code is more than just a set of rules - it is our commitment to the environment, the trails and everyone who shares them with us.

We show respect

And are role models. Therefore ...

... we greet and thank pedestrians
... we give way to pedestrians
... we make ourselves noticed before overtaking
... we close fence passages

For more tolerance on the trails.

We stay on the path

And appreciate the trails and routes. That's why ...

... we respect road closures and driving bans
... we observe time or seasonal restrictions
... we don't take shortcuts

For more fairness on the trails.

We care for the environment

And respect nature. Therefore ...

... we respect wildlife rest areas and protected areas
... we show consideration for animals and plants
... we do not ride over plants, mushrooms or meadows
... we ride trails in sufficient daylight
... we behave quietly when animals are present

For more fun on the trails.

We leave no traces

And still have fun. Therefore ...

... we avoid blocked bikes
... we adapt our speed to the situation
... we take our waste with us

For more respect on the trails.
