Melchsee-Frutt

Winter hiking on Melchsee-Frutt offers two well-marked and varied winter hiking trails that lead you through the impressive mountain world. Explore the picturesque paths with magnificent views of the frozen Melchsee lake while winter hiking on Melchsee-Frutt. Winter hiking trail to Bettenalp

The hiking trail leads from the Melchsee-Frutt mountain station in the direction of Bettenalp. Carefree hours in an untouched winter landscape with views of the Melch Valley are guaranteed! You can also take the chairlift further up to Bonistock or return to the valley via Cheselen.

The loop to Tannalp leads through magnificent winter landscapes. Two picturesque chapels line the edge of the path between Melchsee-Frutt and Tannalp.

Langis Glaubenberg

A signposted circular trail in Langis offers an ideal opportunity to experience nature in the depths of winter. The Langis is particularly family-friendly and also suitable for winter hikes with baby carriages.

Lungern-Turren

In the Lungern-Turren area, accessible via the Turren cable car, two attractive winter hiking offers await you: the walk from Turren to Turrengrat and the Breitenfeld winter hike. Both routes offer breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and Lake Lungern.

A unique winter hiking experience with views deep into the Lungern valley basin and far into the Bernese Alps. Far away from the hustle and bustle, the alpine road leads gently uphill around the Finsterbüel and up to the wonderfully situated, sleepy and mostly deeply snow-covered hut village of Breitenfeld.

Walk to the Turrengrat

A short detour to the Turrengrat ridge is well worthwhile. After a delicious and hearty meal in the Turren mountain restaurant, you can stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh winter air.

Mörlialp

The Mörlialp is another highlight for winter hikes in Central Switzerland. Two marked winter hiking trails invite you to explore the snow-covered landscape around the Mörlialp. Choose between a hike to the Rinderalp or a walk through the Mörliwald forest. Both routes offer relaxing experiences in the idyllic mountain landscape.

The winter hiking trail starts at the Mörlialp mountain restaurant and leads north past the frozen Merliseeli. The winter circular hike continues through the forest, where you may be lucky enough to spot wild animals. Follow the signposted winter hiking trail to the Hackerenhütte and return to the starting point via the Mörlialp parking lot.

This winter hiking trail is only groomed when there is enough snow. However, if Mother Hulda has been generous, you can enjoy the wonderful winter landscape and the peace and quiet to the full.
