For guests of all ages, there are ten stations around Lake Melchsee that promote knowledge about the marmot in a playful way. Here you can learn new things about Fruttli and enjoy the playgrounds and their attractions to the full.

The starting point of the butterfly trail, which is unique in Switzerland, can be easily reached with the Lungern-Turren cable car. The mosaic of dry meadows of national importance has been proven to be home to over 100 species of diurnal butterflies. The most striking of these are described on 17 information boards along the way. Most of the colorful butterflies can be observed from June to August.

Ruedi Rymann's work has made him the most famous person in Giswil. In his honor and in reference to his famous hit "Der Schacherseppli", there is now the Schacherseppli adventure trail. This shows you the work of Ruedi Rymann as an experience in the magnificent natural surroundings.

Ten tricky missions challenge the mind and spirit. The puzzle trail is suitable for all inquisitive minds who enjoy solving tricky puzzles and want to find out more about the formative life of Niklaus von Flüe and his wife Dorothee Wyss.

The Kernwald forms the legendary border forest between Obwalden and Nidwalden. A prehistoric landslide from the Stanserhorn created a unique landscape in the Kernwald. A Chärwaldräuber, which tells its own story, can always be found on well-marked paths. The trail leads past diverse and colorful plant and tree species to the idyllic Gerzensee lake.

Above Sarnen in the Glaubenberg-Langis area is the largest moor landscape in Switzerland. On the Moorbäer nature trail, young and old can discover interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the moor at over twenty stations.

There's lots to discover at the unique Uf dr Wildi children's playground. The meeting place for young and old consists of an alpine village, where there is a barn with a tunnel slide, swings, a ropeway, a fountain, a lake and many other highlights.

The Captain Zinsli playground is a real paradise for children. Anyone who wants to board ships and make the area unsafe is very welcome on the pirate ship. Right next to it, creative building projects are created with the help of the sand elevator and the large water pump.

The view of the surrounding mountains is even better from the observation tower. The curved slide takes you down at a rapid pace. There is also a shorter, more leisurely slide for younger visitors.
